I will pour out my Spirit on all people

wondering if will ever be in a position to set up a duck island.  no room at present outside of bathroom- definitely risky to have ducks and curious beaks in vicinity of ablutions.

realised again that England is itself bit like a duck island;  daily revelations of strange purchases of  nation's MP's.  grateful really that residents of this green and pleasant land have nothing more dreadful to rant about than claims for homes for feathered varieties and moat linings- after all this is part of being surrounded by water, in our dna etc.

wonder what Aung San Suu Kyi would make of British political excitment!  doesn't seem to compare to 15 years of arrest after winning election.  sure most of 23 m North Koreans would agree.

question of the nations raises head again today with Champions League (or is it Champignons says one of KCrew). have been trying to explain to youngest K about how it is right thing to support team from North West in final as island nation hope - not betrayal to regular league scouse team favs.  not seeming to get through to 11 year old firm view.  fear could be embarrassed by Spanish flag hanging from upper window on homecoming and tapas on menu.

such a creative God to bring about the nations.  language, colour, flavour, character, taste, talents, arts, history.  one thing in common, being human.  this is supposed to be enough.

going to thank God our Father this weekend for sending the Holy Spirit  (churchy name- Pentecost).  pray that Holy Spirit will bring hope to Aung San;  Holy Spirit ask you to show Jesus to people of Burma and N.Korea.  remember this is how You worked in China in second half of 20th C when church was banned- do it again God, please, Holy Spirit promise is for all people, all nations.

feel England fairly high on eccentric list of nations.  not sure if this is fair.  anyway, have decided to start with family of rubber ducks.  less threatening with no clothes on.
