All this is from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. (2 cor 18)

 headed off with fellow Kcrew to Wembley last Friday.  much excitement on heaving tube at prospect of Coldplay on sunny evening.  weighing up pros and cons of pitch standing and distant seating - opt for seating. not so helpful for long-sighted K (me!).  grateful to Chris Martin forever when band brave walk from stage to mini-platform 2/3 down pitch to do acoustic songs.  how did he know that I was there?  how did they manage 3guitar version of billie jean on tiny space?

just as wondrous to see Jay Z;  bass sound rap and harmony reaching parts that I didnt know I had!

Jay Z (athletic guy) gives bear hug to Chris M - becomes overplayful and wrestles him to the floor all in mid-song, no damage done. 

hip hop and rock one stage, together.  in world of schism and fractures, real picture of divides and walls being broken down. preferences don't need to become prejudices or antagonism from one group to another.

pray that Spirit at work in these 2 music stars might spread to our young people, to our leaders, to our nations.

news story of Fiona Pilkington and her daughter Francesca - Leicestershire family committed suicide in burning car;  on receiving end of months of bullying to her son and daughter (who was disabled) by children and others in "neighbourhood".  much criticism and blame being thrown around- councils, social workers, police.   but wonder about other people who lived there? what if I lived there? 

feel it can't be the answer to handover all human responsibilities to council etc.  

bit huge to think God has given me ministry of reconciliation.  not as an employee, just a human being. 

pray Jesus will forgive me for keeping quiet when should make reconciler noise. Pray Big G will give me and church big courage and excitement to be reconciler, peacebringer.

thankful Jesus put me in a church community here to care for anyone at all.  hope we can come to be an open community 24/7/365.
